Treasurer’s Report/Minutes

Treasurer’s report was provided by Tim Dykehouse and the minutes were approved as written

Address stamper needs updating as Harrison Hill PO Box is fading

 Membership

47 households have paid dues   Need a reminder in the next newsletter then we need to make door to door requests for dues.   Many households also made an additional contribution.

Jan to contact Block Captains to determine interest in helping contact homeowners to remind them of Association Dues of $25 per year

Welcome Packet

Need to recreate Welcome packets for new neighbors.  Notecards used to be provided with the welcome packets but it was suggested  that we contact previous president, Dana Merle to discuss past issue with using the Harrison Hill note cards as part of the packet.  It should also include a newsletter and letter from the President.  Perhaps local businesses will add to the packet as well.

Jan will get information from Visitor’s Convention Center – map handout and activities brochure.

Jan to contact Dana and discuss note card issue.

Newsletter Advertising and articles

Discussion about discounting advertising for homeowners and children offering babysitting, dog walking, lawn mowing, etc.  A vote was brought that homeowners should pay the same as any other advertiser, children’s services will not be charged and approval of the previous advertising rates to remain in effect.  The motion was seconded and granted.

Interviews with new neighbors or long time neighbors was suggested for the newsletter.

 Code Violations or concerns

Concern was raised about the home at Harrison and West Foster Parkway which is abandoned.  Reports of someone spending the night at the home.

Jan to follow up with Police to advise of concern
